Elizabeth is convinced there is a secret society of fairies living under the mighty oak tree in her back yard. Is her notorious imagination running amok? Or shall we take a closer look…

Like a typical toddler, when left to her own devices, hats and scarves end up on the floor. So I designed this hooded cowl for her that is BUTTONED on because I judge the success of my parenting based on how well I can outsmart a 2 year old. Let me tell you, the standards over here are HIGH.

So why is it called “Elizabeth’s Tulips?” Simply put, the main stitch used is the ‘Elizabeth’ stitch (Don’t worry, it’s super easy) and a tulip motif. To create this hooded cowl, you will need 3 different colors of yarn, 2 large buttons, a K hook, and sewing notions. This is a pretty fast project and your biggest timesink will be weaving in the ends. Another note is the hood on this cowl is OVERSIZED for two reasons: to create that precious drape and to prevent the hair underneath from getting TOO messed up. If you prefer a snugger hood, go ahead and follow the instructions on how to make the hood smaller.
