My name is Alison, and I’m the creator and designer behind Modern Grace Design. Inspired by my Grandmother Grace, who was an avid knitter and crocheter, I strive to create modern knit products with the same passion.

I especially enjoy making blankets of all sizes, kitchen items, hats and various accessories for our cold Canadian months. In addition to handmade knits, I love to design various patterns for fellow makers. With over 20 years of knit and crochet experience, I still thrive on the fact that there is always something new to learn with my craft. At the end of the day, there is no greater fulfillment than being able to create.
