One of a kind yarns for one a kind projects.
Keeping it quirky and fun, Stitch Noir has gone through quite the evolution over the years. Crocheted items, knitted items, handspun yarn and now hand dyeing fibre.
I have been dyeing small batches of handpainted, heavily speckled and textured yarns since 2018.
As I began in the world of knitting, crochet and spinning, I know how to dye yarn that is going to work up into something exciting and unique! Having the good fortune to move into a home with a second kitchen (….ahem…or rather with a dye lab!) gives me the opportunity to experiment and play for long periods without interruption.
Some of my favourite yarn colourways to dye include my “Refraction” line of yarns as well as my Gemstone inspired yarns, jumbo luxious merino/cashmere/silk skeins that come with the pendant which inspired their colours.
