I live on the west coast, Vancouver, BC Canada with my patient husband and cute Kitty. My introduction to knitting was from my mother who taught me to knit on a pair of handmade knitting needles she made out of Arbutus tree branches (twigs).

Throughout the years I have knit off-and-on but since 2009 I haven’t stopped. My days are filled with multiple projects on the go, designing knitting patterns, teaching and running The Crafty Jackalope. My knitwear design is inspired by what’s around me: my friends & family, by fashion & streetwear around the world, and by nature & the city that surrounds me. My designs are straightforward with creative details and uncomplicated stitches. I love positive ease, fashion-forward lines, and projects that are simple to make, stunning to wear!
