Born in New Zealand, now based in Sydney Australia. I’ve been fascinated with fashion design and garment making since my mother taught me as a child.

For about 10 years as a professional dancer I also worked as a costume maker. Fashion went onto the back burner whilst raising children but, now I have time to pour into design again.

I love designing garments that will make you look and feel great. Sometimes they are easier than they look and, other times, a bit of a fun challenge. I love playing with colours and textures plus all the hundreds of lines of mathematics required for grading the sizes. Very satisfying!

HELP WITH YOUR COLOURS. Most of my patterns use two colours or more. If you feel unsure about the colours you have chosen, take a photo and comment on the pattern asking for help. I am happy to give you my opinion before you start. By commenting on the pattern, the conversation can be seen by other knitters and, hopefully, this advice will help them as well.
