I am a linguist and a teacher by trade but retired from both professions to live in Valparaiso, Chile, where my husband and I have a guesthouse.

I taught myself how to knit, crochet and sew a long time ago (do you ever stop learning though?) and recently have begun to publish my patterns and reviews on my blog.

I write patterns that are simple but have techniques, stitches, or construction details that I hope are helpful for beginner and intermediate knitters to move forward in their creative journeys. The patterns are in English and Spanish, translated by me.
