Hello world. My name is Ryan Winters, and I’m the creator of Corduroykidd. I design creative and colourful knitwear based out of Seattle.

The day I was trying to come up with names for my brand I was walking through downtown. I had my headphones in—music blasting. Crossing the street I looked down an alley and found a beautiful hand painted mural. There are dozens around the city, all tucked into empty corners and useless spaces. It reminded me about the kind of world that I want to live in, a colourful one. I started thinking about all my childhood drawings, scribbles of bright colours and fantastical creatures. I realised that there’s no reason to grow up. A lot of adults often complain about how much getting older sucks. I don’t want to be like that. I want to be just like when I was a little kid. Laughing, surrounded by colour and dancing in my corduroy overalls.

The definition of a Corduroykidd is having a dedication to never growing up and finding enjoyment in ever aspect of your life. The world is crazy and weird and wonderful. Embrace it and find your inner Kidd.
