I have been a crocheted for about 40 years and a knitter for around 36 years. I started designing things for myself and friends early on to fit our needs. Then, others wanted to make the same things, so I learned how to write them up.

I love being inspired by the natural beauty I am privileged to be surrounded with and the changing colors and patterns that nature brings to our senses, if we are willing to savor them.

I am also inspired by filling the needs of others, and clothing those who are cold with the warmth of my heart made manifest by my hands and simple string.
