Hi, I’m Crystal and hail from a small town in Minnesota along the Mississippi River. Knitting and crocheting were first introduced to me as a young girl by my grandmother, Milly.

Grandma Milly unknowingly planted that seed for knitting and a love of all fibers. And from that love, Factory Girl Design accessory and garment patterns are designed with size inclusivity at the forefront.

As a plus size woman and designer, style, fit and comfort are important to me. Each pattern shares tips for customizing and personalizing for your perfect fit. my hope is each maker will feel pride and joy while wearing their hand knits.
