I’ve been designing knits since the early ’90s, first for small American woolen mills, then for magazine and book collections. My portfolio of print-published designs is on the Portfolio page on my blog.

I’ve been self-publishing since the mid-’90s, with over 140 patterns in classical, innovative, and whimsical styles to tempt your knitting needles and crochet hooks!

Almost all my designs are worked in the round (or back and forth on a circular), and bottom-up (or cuff-down, as for socks). I’m a die-hard double-point sock knitter!

I love to design stranded colorwork, but I also enjoy textured and plain knitting.

The Techniques page on my blog describes and has some small, older videos for, some of the techniques I use.

I also spin, weave, crochet, and do basic sewing. I love to garden with heirlooms, as well as cook and bake.
