Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I have been artistically creative since the age of 10 when I first learnt to knit and embroider. My first knitted items were doll clothes that I would make from random shapes I had created and sewn together to make them into whatever they were supposed to be. :grin:

As the years progressed I learnt to follow patterns, and then went on to design my own patterns. I taught myself to crochet many years later and I now combine both in my own dolls clothes. :two_hearts:

I love designing patterns and endeavour to give enough information for others to produce the same results as those shown in the photo. There is so much room for creativity that it is easy enough to individualise each piece for yourself and I encourage you to do so. :hugging_face:

I enjoy a vast range of other artistic pursuits such as spinning on my Ashford traddy that I have had for over 30 years; creating natural fibre art dolls from scratch; making doll wigs from mohair, alpaca or wool locks; acrylic painting (which I taught for 16 years); hand and wheel pottery; leather carving; decoupage; photography; resin casting and jewellery making. So many interests .. and so little time sigh :blush:
