I am a designer with a heart for children and charity. My own precious daughter, Charlotte, died in July 2015 of brain cancer, and crochet design has played and continues to play a large role in the grieving process.

I have two purposes behind building my design business:

We were blessed by so many people who supported us financially when Charlotte was sick, and we want to be able to give back. I enjoy creating patterns for items that can be donated, specifically to cancer wards and patients, and I want to raise money to support others going through what we suffered.

As my husband and I look forward at building our family, we are coming to the realization that we’ll need to either go the fertility treatment or adoption route, neither of which is an inexpensive endeavor. Even with both of our full-time jobs, it will be years before we could possibly afford either. I’m hoping to create a little more income in our household to tuck away so we can once again have a little one in our family.
