Hi, I’m Filipa, a hand-knitting teacher and designer based in Lisboa, Portugal. I love crafts, I started crocheting as a child, then some embroidery, and some sewing, and finally I fell in love with knitting. I’m an engineer, and I am very passionate about knitting because it allows me to combine both my creative and mathematical facets in a single task. I collect old books and magazines and always carry a lot of vintage inspiration. I enjoy exploring new techniques and designing garments that dress well and are fun to knit. I also love teaching! I try to simplify knitting techniques and make them accessible to all levels. I have a YouTube channel where I share tutorials weekly. My goal is for you to feel confident enough to turn all your ideas into real garments and, above all, to enjoy knitting them.
