I thought I’d try to write lots of patterns but really it’s a lot of work.

I started with Youghiogheny and Monongahela. They are sisters really. I’ll also add that technically my simple tapered scarf is my first pattern but it fall into the ‘barely a pattern’ category so I don’t count it. I also added a chart just because.

I have a group, Monongahela KAL
that test knit Monongahela, named after one of the rivers in Pittsburgh. Thanks to my group, I worked out most of the problems of my design. I think that I will let my group exist though it is pretty dead as I type this.

In theory I have 2 new(old) designs but I haven’t gotten around to finishing writing them up and test knitting them. I have other ideas but my attention span is not working that way right now. I might get around to doing more stuff, if it suits me. They are ‘tributaries’ of my ‘river’ patterns.

I am working on a thigh high stocking design so I might resurrect it even though it’s not related to the shawls in any way except for me being the designer.
