I taught myself to crochet when I was in grade school, and one of my first finished projects was a little bear that stood about 8” high. Years later, after university, marriage, children and other wonderful life experiences, I’ve started crocheting bears (and other creatures) again!

Several months ago I was moved to create little animals and donate them to a local women’s shelter. I wanted the children who come to the shelter to have something cute and cuddly that might bring them some joy. I will keep adding patterns as they are developed, and I hope you, too, can bring joy to someone’s life with these little crocheted creatures.
