I am a life time crafter, and first learnt to knit aged 5 sitting on the front door step. After a career spent in the textile/craft and retail trades, including buying for Liberty, I had a break to have my family. I ended up doing the admin for the grounds maintenance company, started by my partner. I left, having decided that 20 years spent pushing paper is quite enough! So on Nov 3rd 2011, I opened Craft Days. Running a craft shop had been a dream of mine for a long time.
Since then, we have learnt a lot and made friends with many customers along the way!
Textiles, yarns, colour and creating, are still my passions, I just love all of it! Part of my mission is to keep textile craft skills alive and spread the word about just how good creating things is your well-being. To help this we run all sorts of workshops and courses in knitting, crochet, needle felting, dressmaking and patchwork to name a few!
