I have been knitting since the age of 5 and crocheting from my teens. I designed clothes in my teens and continue to do so. I graduated from Derby University in 1996 and taught people with disadvantages arts, crafts and pottery. In my designs I incorporate new design ideas and trends. My emphasis is on style and try to design patterns which are not confined to a specific type of yarn so there is more option for people to be creative and use the yarn they like.
