I knit and crochet like I cook. I view patterns and recipes as suggested guidelines and not hard-and-fast rules. I usually look at those guidelines and add a touch of this or substitute a touch of that, and make it my own. And, just like cooking, it isn’t always a gourmet result. But it usually is fun. And it’s always a learning experience.

You’ll find a lot of my designs do not ask for specific brand-name yarns. I use a lot of recycled and vintage materials. So go for gauge. And I’m always open to questions and feedback.
