I learned to knit at my grandmother’s knee and promptly decided I loathed knitting. I went on to design books and interactive media, ignoring knitting needles until recovery from a surgery required me to sit still for three weeks. I taught myself to knit to stave off boredom, fell in love, and haven’t put down the needles since. I design and knit in Portland, Oregon.
