Need a tech editor?

I have 5+ years in the editing industry in the realms of books, articles, websites, and essays. Add in there my 3 years of graphic design work in the commercial signage industry, and my rabid knitting habit, and you have a very multi-faceted and well-rounded editor for your patterns.

I do use a checklist, but I am NOT a product of a weekend video course. I can do everything from proofreading to simplifying instructions to math calculations to style consistency.

Downside? I haven’t yet studied size grading.

I am accessibility minded, and I think that pattern text is often set too small for the millions of makers who have vision impairments.

I’m 4th-generation Californian living in Wisconsin. I miss home, but the Midwest is beautiful, and there is so much less stress here. The weather gives me the perfect excuse to knit! My yard has squirrels, bunnies, and sometimes we see deer and even bears in town.
