Hello - my name is JoAnn. I have been crocheting for over 40 years and also weave and macrame. I carry my hook in my back pocket at all times because I never know when the urge will hit. I might be out in the barn with my horses or feeding the chickens, but I always have my hook nearby!

I am a CYC Certified Crochet Instructor skilled in Advanced Stitches & Techniques through the CGOA. I run By the Stitch online store and teaching studio. While I crochet on demand, my main purpose in life is to teach others this wonderful craft. Given we have recently moved to VA, I teach mainly online via Zoom.
