I like to knit with natural fibers, mostly cotton and wool. I designed the Cabled Pocket Shawl for a woman in my congregation who has environmental allergies and wanted a wool shawl with pockets. Cables are not only beautiful, but they add warmth, so I designed the Cabled Pocket Shawl to meet my needs and hers in the same shawl!
