I was a bi-monthly pattern columnist in Crochet World magazine for 20 years from 1990 to 2010. My designs were featured in Country Treasures and Timeless Treasures.
I love all things crochet and knit and will dream about my next design while crocheting my current one. I especially love the colors of fiber and fabric and am very inspired by ombres and variegated yarns. I don’t know why; I just have been since I was a child. I sometimes get ideas for designs from all the beautiful materials in a fabric store. I can browse through fabric the way most crochet and knit designers browse through yarns! I am attracted to all things ‘cute’, maybe that’s why I design so many things that could be considered ‘childlike’!
