A bit about me…
I’m a diverse knitter--socks, gloves, sweaters, shawls, bags, lace, fair isle, etc. I love learning new techniques. I also enjoy desigining. My yarn stash is a guilty pleasure that is completely supported by my fabulous husband---yarn is cheaper than therapy! Although, he’s quick to mention that he has his own guilty obsessions. What a guy.

I’m a huge fan of British Comedy. I love them all. From good old Bill Shakespeare to the present I have yet to meet a Britcom I haven’t liked---or at least preferred to the dreck on “telly” here. In fact, my family calls me Queenie (a la Miranda Richardson in Black Adder Season 2). I don’t know who is humoring whom….I really am the Queen of the Universe.

I was a contestant in the first season of Skacel’s design contest: The Fiber Factor. Such fun! Here is my introduction video from the contest.

For those who are making one of my designs…
First--thank you. I love seeing how knitters interpret my patterns and make them their own.

Second--I’ve been told perfection is boring. Well, I’m certainly not boring (just ask my kids) and I’m definitely not perfect. Because of this I have a standing policy of rewarding people who nicely bring an error to my attention with a free single pattern download from my Ravelry pattern store.
