It never ceases to amaze me that we can take a long length of yarn, wool, cotton, string or cord and with a little patience, and perseverance, and a couple of sticks we can create something beautiful.
I started knitting as a child, and have always got a great deal of pleasure knitting for other people, especially children. I don’t know who taught me, I think I went between my sisters and my mother, when one got frustrated I moved on to the next until I’d mastered it.
I knitted for my dolls, then my children, and now my grandchildren, and I also publish a few of my favourite patterns
