Kat Mcab
I was in my teen years when I taught myself to crochet (35+ years ago). I have learned a lot of other crafts through the years (macramé, ceramics, needlepoint, sewing, cross stitch, plastic canvas, beading) but crocheting had always been my favorite. I tried to learn how to knit way back in a home ec class but couldn’t get the hang of it then. About ten+ years ago both my Mother and I wanted to get back into our favorite (original) crafts, knitting for her, crocheting for me. But as I watched her knit I got the bug and have been knitting ever since. Now knitting and crocheting have become interchangeable as my favorite craft, it just depends on what I want to make at the time.
I live with a husband and two cats. All tolerate my craft needs and yarn frenzies. I love yarn and have a stash that is over 1200 skeins. Did I say I love yarn, I really LOVE yarn. :-)
