Kati Rauva
As a designer, my number one favourite subject is sweaters. All kinds and all sizes, but I tend to make more sweaters to women and children.
Beside of sweaters I like to make designs for cardigans and all sort of accessorizes.
The ideas come either from the yarn, its colour and texture, or from the person for whom I am going to design a sweater. The idea may also come from something I see, for example, in nature or when traveling to a new place, I realize that some shape or subject wants to be transformed into the form of a knit.
There have always been line of ideas and projects waiting for me. I usually have several projects on-going and I enjoy having a little bit of a knitting and crocheting chaos around me.
Knitting is a way of life!
