Katie Benedict
I read.
I knit.
I write.
I write knitting patterns.
I eat out too much.
I sometimes drink too much.
I know I spend too much money.
I do not travel nearly enough.
I will never have enough books, yarn or money.
Sometimes I find myself at events where Alan Rickman might be present. Coincidence? Probably not.
I like expensive yarn, circular metal knitting needles, cats (the more pathetic, the better), the smell of a new book, the smell of an old book, champagne, stories that make me cry, nachos, ice cream, lychees, caviar, airports, New York (but NOT New York airports), places I’ve never been, places I want to return to, the excited feeling I get in my stomach when something spectacular happens in a movie, flowers that are soft like velvet, jewel-tone colors, high-heeled shoes, talking until 3am, and the sensation of falling back asleep when I realize the alarm won’t ring for at least another hour.
