I’ve been collaborating on and designing small projects since 2002 when I began working at an LYS. My initial designs were “published” under the LYS name, so I do not hold the copyright on those. Since 2004, I have been designing on my own and self-publishing as Katinka Knits. Before Ravelry, I sold patterns on Etsy and Payloadz. Now, my designs are available on Ravelry.

I focus on providing instructions that are concise, straightforward, and (hopefully) easy to follow. :)

Notes:
(1) Some of my patterns were designed using yarns that are now discontinued. You may be able to find these yarns in people’s stashes here, or at other places online. If not, in most cases, other yarns may be easily substituted.

(2) Some of my patterns are formatted to be printed on 8 1/2” x 11” paper and then folded in quarters, so it may look as if part of the pattern is upside down. I am working on reformatting for those who prefer to be able to read patterns on electronic devices rather than printing them.
