I’ve been knitting and crocheting forever. My grandma taught me and she never used patterns or stitch books or anything, so I grew up in the grand tradition of all knitters and crocheters who think that patterns are vague suggestions at best.

I’m not sure what my grandma would think of me starting to write patterns for other people - which I hope they will make their own and use as vague suggestions at best - but I think she’d be okay with it. As long as there’s yarn involved, all is well.
