Hi! I’m Kirsten!
I’m a Danish knitwear designer, based north of Copenhagen, and I’m behind NORgardknitters, - along with my daughter, Karoline.

I graduated as a fashion designer from Denmark’s Design School back in 1999, and has been working with commercial collections since. I have designed for others, and I have been co-owner and designer for Norlie childrenswear. My greatest passion has always been designing classic knitwear styles, with some kind of a feminine touch.

Hand-knitted projects and publication of own knitting patterns is still a new thing though, but in a very short time, I have come to love this craft immensely. Hand-knitting has created a new family passion between two generations, and it is fantastic to be able to share the same enthusiasm for this beautiful craftmanship.

More knitting patterns will follow, and will also be available in other languages.
