Previously only developing patterns to use in my knitting classes, I am just beginning to make my patterns available to the broader knitting public. All of my patterns include embedded video links in order to help clarify and support new skills learned in the pattern.

Formerly an English teacher, I am a natural instructor living in Ogden, Utah who is passionate about sharing my love of knitting with others. I believe that knitting can be very impactful in people’s lives, seeing it nurture them as they grieve and heal, repair disconnected relationships, and bring communities together. My students are consistently drawn to my patience, kind demeanor, and clear method of instruction. I am the owner of Knit Hero, offering private, semi-private, and group knitting instruction, pattern tech editing, and natural light photography. I also teach at Needlepoint Joint, Ogden’s local yarn store, annually at the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair and the Salt Lake Knitting Guild, and has taught for Vogue Knitting Destinations.
