When I was eight years old, my mum sat down with my sister and me, gave us each a crochet hook that had once belonged to her grandmother and taught us how to make what I later found out was a granny square.

If she’d only known what she’d started.

On the Koalamea Crafts Ravelry page, I hope to share my crochet patterns, old and new, and to post other projects I happen to be working on, so that perhaps what is inspiring me, can inspire you too.
