Much of my inspiration comes from living in northern California where I love running long-distance, surfing, snowboarding, and being in nature. I live with my husband, our second children, our Pomchi sisters, and our senior cat. My designs often reflect my attitude or obsession of the moment ranging from tenderness to angst. The K4 Project came from my original knit designs under the label Knitty Kitty which then expanded to crochet designs and became Knitty Kitty Knotty Kat, hence K4. It is now an organization where part of the profits from my pattern sales go to help animal welfare and find forever homes for our furry friends.
