A little background information ……I learned to knit when I was nine years old. After a while, other craft interests took over ….crochet, cross stitch, sewing, beading, paper arts, etc.

When I became pregnant with my first child Amanda, (hatcherswife here on Ravelry), I became more serious about knitting. Years flew by, and then I decided to take classes on knitting instruction at a TKGA event in Atlanta. There I met Caroline, the owner of Knit n Knibble in Tampa.

I began teaching classes at the shop, and soon decided that I wanted to try my hand at designing as well.

When Amanda became pregnant with her first child, she decided that she would give knitting a try. (Before then it was a boring “Mom” craft.) Well …..needless to say, she took off running, designing right from the start!

So …..the rest, as they say, is history. I have another lovely daughter who is crafty, but not a knitter. I have many family members and an adorable chi-doxy (or doxy-huahua) who keep me busy with the knitting!
