After teaching English for 15 years I changed career and opened my online yarn shop PurPle Laines.
I learnt knitting at the age of 6 and crochet at 8 years old. I crocheted many doilies in my childhood and teenage years. I love crochet as much as knitting, it depends on the weather! I started designing patterns in 2013 and published my 1st crochet book in 2015.
My former job has helped me a lot to write clear patterns. I also worked as the tech-editor and arts director of French knitting magazine Passion Tricot.
I translate many patterns from English to French for my shop.
