As an educator, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have when working any of my patterns. I remember well what it was like to work someone else’s pattern with trial and error. I try to eliminate pitfalls any knitter might experience when working my patterns.

Back in the day when many patterns were printed on pamphlets writing was typically formal and technical. But now with PDFs it’s not necessary to be so cryptic. This more detailed and often more casual writing style makes it easy for new knitters to achieve their goals and generally it is more fun for all!

My patterns typically have both charted and written instructions for cable and lace motifs. The charts are colour-coded, with colours consistent across patterns. Once you are familiar with the coding you know at a glance which cable to work.
