It all started with a stitch and became a passion in life: Heathland Knits. While I’ve been knitting for what feels like my whole life, in 2019 I made my first steps in designing my own knitted pieces.
Knitting is calming me down – and as a former computer scientist, knitting is to me like an algorithm that I can touch.
Heathland Knits is located in the Netherlands in the middle of the beautiful heath landscape of North Brabant, which inspired the name.

I hope I can share some of the knitting fascination with you.
