I’m a knitting designer based in the Scottish Highlands. I love knitting birds, cuddly animals and dolls - all of my patterns are great for beginners as they are all knitted flat on 4mm needles, so no knitting in the round!

My book Knitted Birds was published by Search Press in September 2015 - there’s patterns for over 30 knitted birds for you to make in the book - and more to come!

I’m also a regular contributor to Let’s Knit magazine (you may recognise Neil and Stanley the guinea pigs!)

I’ve launched my own range of knit kits, which contain everything you need to make a cuddly knitted creation of your own - you can find Jeff the Gull, Beneduck Cumberbatch the duck, Bill the Pigeon and many others in my Etsy shop, and more knitted friends are on their way soon.
