My name is Marte and I live in Trondheim, in the middle of Norway in Northern Europe.

I am inspired by the old traditional Norwegian knitting patterns, mixed with modern, bright colours and maximalist details.

I also love our national costumes “bunad” and “festdrakt” and I often use elements from the bunads in my designs.

“Lofoten Festkofte” -“ Lofoten Celebration Cardigan” is inspired by the wild flowers up north in Lofoten where I spent many childhood summers in my grandparents´ small green house in the inner corner of the Bunes fjord.
