Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my Ravelry shop. My name is Novel and I am a knit and crochet designer from Pittsburgh, PA.

I have been knitting for 20 years and crocheting for 15. The first items I ever made were designed by me. I have always loved the challenge that comes from making an item from scratch.

All of the items in my shop are designed, knit, modeled and photographed by me. I name all of my designs after women who inspire me. Some are fictional characters from my favorite stories, others are singers or actresses whose work I admire and some are named after friends or family members who I love. Even though they all play different roles in my life they are all heroines.
