I am an Irish professional knitting teacher and designer living in Dublin, Ireland. I have been teaching hand knitting for more than ten years and am passionate about sharing my knowledge and seeing my clients experience the joy of learning new skills and creating hand knits for themselves and to give as gifts.

I teach the first workshop on every knittingtours.com 10 night South of Ireland Knitting Tour with Aran Islands and look forward to welcoming to groups to Dublin to enjoy a fun class and leave wearing a lovely knitted wire and crystal leaf pendant.

With the advent of Covid-19 I was forced to suspend all in person classes, workshops, clinics and events from March 15th 2020. I am pleased to announce that The Knitting Class is now LIVE online.

In person classes resumed in Dublin at the end of 2021 however live-by-zoom classes and clinics 1-to-1 knitting help have remained as an important part of The Knitting Class offering, allowing you to join from anywhere in the world!

I design and write patterns for hand knitting which I really find drives my creative side and compliments classes and workshops. My first pattern ’OisinOwl’ became a best seller on the day that it was published on Ravelry, which was very exciting. I have also been published by Knit magazine in the UK.
