PibbleKnits
I have been knitting since I taught myself how in 2000. Most of my designs come from an intuitive approach, or, “Let’s See What Happens When I Do THIS…” as I call it.
For my day job, I am a Clinical Program Coordinator in the field of cancer research. My spare time is spent knitting, reading, spending time with my wonderful (and patient) husband, designing, spinning, and working events for the Wisconsin Humane Society with Porkchop the ambassadog.
In addition to Porkchop, an American Bulldog/ pitbull mix, we have Eipley a rescue pitbull, and 5 WHS alumni cats; Vincent, Rufus, Benny, and the twins Franklin and Zurelda. My love of pitbulls (or pibbles, as we sometimes call them) and all underdogs lead to my design name PibbleKnits. The kids are wonderful and patient models, so you will probably see a lot of them in my designs! Also prominently featured will be our quorum of mannequin heads, Alicia and the VanDellas; Franklin, Lamarr, and Peggy (featuring HatBlock #22).
I hope that people find my patterns useful and fun. Happy knitting!
