I knit, crochet, and design patterns for all ages. I use a lot of classic Scandinavian designs, but also love to throw some unicorns and dinosaurs into the mix occasionally.

Most of what I do is inspired by my daughters, travels to Iceland, and music that I love. I grew up in Kansas, but moved to the East Coast where I studied philosophy and (later behaviorism), saw ZZ Top live, met my husband, became a mom, and had some amazing adventures. Now I’m back in the Midwest, but Baltimore still has a giant, rat-shaped piece of my heart.

When I’m not knitting, I’m doing yoga, baking vegan treats, watching Goodfellas, or telling my kids to put their shoes on for the 596th time.
