I have been knitting on and off since I was about 10 years old. I learned to knit so that I could complete the back to a fair isle sweater that my dad had knitted as a soldier but not finished. I have gone through phases of knitting and only really recently added crochet as a regular activity. I only started dish cloths last year and I love knitting them! I am married and have two children a freshman in college and an 11th grader. I currently live in Turkey and this is my 7th country to live in in the last 21 years. Although I claim Texas now, I was born British, in Africa and in fact have spent the vast majority of my life there. I also like to sew, do patchwork, bead and generally get interested in all kinds of things. Although not currently working I am a middle school math teacher and have enjoyed many years of teaching teens! We do not currently have any pets but love animals and plan to have more once we retire back to Texas.
