Renee Anne
I started knitting (for real and permanent) in the fall of 2007 (I fully blame one of my college roommates for this). I started messing with the idea of my own patterns very early on, as evidenced by my first couple of designs that were done within my first year of knitting. Most of those designs are…well they’re not horrible but they’re not polished (I’m working on it and I’ll probably republish them in PDF form at some point).
Aside from knitting, I also spin and I’ve dabbled in crochet.
I’m a Wisconsin native who spent almost a decade living in the San Francisco Bay Area before coming back home. I live here with Husband, Little Man, Stormageddon, and 22,000ish apis mellifera (honeybees)….and my enviable stash.
Aside from fibery endeavors, I’ve been working on the family genealogy as well as trying to catch up on the zillions of books I own. Oh, and I blog. It’s mostly about knitting and fibery things but I’ve been known to stray into genealogy and I often have photos of Little Man, Stormageddon, and our life here in the sticks.
Here are a couple of my (non-published) patterns (yes, I’m working on them and I’ll get there someday): Little Granite Dishcloth, and Little Man’s Cobblestone Baby Blanket.
