Rhonda Craven
Having grown up in the small fishing village of Bucks Harbor surrounded by the beauty of the area, Rhonda draws her inspiration from nature and local scenery. The wide variety of color that changes with the seasons is evident in her yarns. The names of many of her designs are actual names of places where her family has fished and raised sheep. Her husband David is a shepherd and grazier with a deep connection to nature that includes plants, mushrooms, fish & wildlife. Working together as they tend their flocks gives Rhonda a hands-on feel for the wool. Just as the grasses and kelp impart a distinctive flavor to the lamb, the forage and coastal climate work together to produce high quality fleeces. One of their highest objectives is to be good stewards of the land.
