Hi! I am a knitter and pattern designer from Oregon. I live in Portland with my husband, Kevin, and my adopted Chihuahua, Andy. In addition to being in love with knitting, I also enjoy being a middle school English teacher.

I believe knitting is something that connects us to the present moment in its meditative and relaxing aspects. I love knitting after a day of work or while enjoying my favorite TV shows (period dramas are my favorite!) or out enjoying a coffee or craft brew in the city. I also think that the joy of sharing your deep satisfaction in what you are able to make is on of the greatest feelings! Isn’t it wonderful to able to say that-- yes, you made it!
