The patterns in the Knitted Lace Exploration bundle will allow you to explore and have fun with knitted lace (every round) and varied stitch patterns!
Knitted lace is worked every row / round, and creates lacier projects. It’s a beautiful technique to know, and it will allow you to create shallower decrease lines and airy stacks of yarn-overs. So it’s great for bringing variation into your lacy accessories.
You can try knitted lace the easy way! It’s waaaay easier to work in the round than flat: You’ll always look at the right side of the work. That will allow you to dip your toe into knitted lace the easy way! :-)
The patterns in this bundle will let you have fun with 4 cowl patterns with knitted lace (of course) and a variety of motifs: Leaf-inspired, textured, wavy, stacked or combined yarn-overs, all with a touch of (lacy) cables or twisted stitches.
Accessories are perfect projects to experiment with stitch patterns, colors, and yarn. And they make perfect gifts too!
Each pattern requires the equivalent of one or two skeins of yarn. The yarn weights range from Fingering to Sport. All the patterns are customizable: You can adjust the project to your needs and yarn.
The patterns in this bundle require some attention, but there are no difficult stitches. Tutorials are provided for the stitches and techniques used. Please take a moment to review the notes and skill-level section on the individual pattern pages for the details about the patterns.
With a fun mix of patterns, the Knitted Lace Exploration bundle includes 4 patterns, all suitable for not too busy colorways to show off the lace such as solid, semi-solid, (single-skein) gradient yarns. You can use a wide range of yarn weights provided your selected yarn has enough stitch definition (suggested: Fingering to DK). If you’d like to get some guidance about yarn types, don’t hesitate to ask me (also if you want to make them with summer or winter yarns)!
All Skeinwalker patterns come with fully written and charted instructions, blocking photos, and suggestions to customize your project. And of course, you won’t be in the wild on your own! ;-) Because the patterns also come with links to video tutorials for the techniques and stitches used, and for fixing some mistakes if needed. All that to help you along! It’s just the fun; not the headaches of figuring it out! Because knitting as to be a pleasurable experience from start to finish, right?!
