I’m a simple mom holding on to her sanity by the knot at the end of my yarn.

I have been crocheting for nearly a decade. I learned on my own, but both of my grandmothers crocheted as well so it’s really a talent handed down through the generations. Every time I pick up the yarn and choose a stitch to work I anxiously wait and see what happens as I get started. The creative process seems to take hold and the uniqueness of each item emerges simply and quietly.

You can often find me curled up on my couch watching a movie, hubby next to me, with yarn and hook in hand. If I’m not there I might be writing, reading, or practicing my taekwondo.
